KEYDIY is preparing to release a powerful new update for the Keydiy KD-X4 Key Programmer, bringing support for copying/cloning 2018+ Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) smart keys. This new function simplifies key duplication without requiring complicated vehicle programming procedures.

How to Copy a 2018+ JLR Smart Key with KD-X4?
Disassemble the original Jaguar Land Rover smart key.
Open the Land Rover Smart Key Synchronization function in the KD App.
Select Land Rover → Select by Type → Disassemble to Copy Key → Copy Smart Key.
Follow the wiring diagram displayed in the KD App.
Either solder wires directly to the original key PCB or remove the NXP chip and connect it using the KEYDIY #13 NCF29Ax Adapter.
Read and save the original key chip data.
Connect the new key (original or KEYDIY ZB smart key).
Write the saved chip data to the new key to complete the cloning process.
Once the writing process is finished, the new key is successfully copied and ready for use.
