I used the KEYDIY KD-X6 Key Programmer to add a 2023 Mitsubishi Triton ID47 smart key successfully. The job was easy in minutes, using a working key and a new universal key.
- Enter Add Key Mode
On the KEYDIY KD-X6, go to Programming Function >> Immo programming >> Asia >> MITSUBISHI >> OK. Select Add keys.
- Prepare the Vehicle
Close all windows and doors. Unplug devices from the cigarette lighter and switch off unrelated electrical equipment to avoid insufficient vehicle voltage. Press OK to continue.
The tool reads the password as 0707. Press OK to proceed.
- Read the Matched Key
The tool requires at least one matched key. Press OK to continue.
Insert the matched key into the key card slot under the steering wheel or in the passenger storage box. If there is no card slot, place the key close to the start button. Press OK.
- Pair the New Key
When prompted to pair the next key, insert it into the key card slot within 10 seconds, then press OK to continue.
After pairing succeeds, click Cancel to finish. The tool displays Matching completed.
Verify Key Operation
Test the new universal key. Locking, unlocking, and engine starting all work normally.
