A customer reported that the KEYDIY KD-MP Tool could read original MLB keys without any issue, but failed when working with MQB48. The tool successfully read the key ID and uploaded the data to the server, but returned the error: “Server self-check failed.”

KEYDIY has released Software Version 1.8.7 (February 2026) for the KD-MP MQB48/MLB data collection tool. This update fixes known MQB48 key reading issues.
If the Issue Continues:
Adjust the key position and try again.
If still unsuccessful, contact KEYDIY Customer Service for support.
